Restaurants, bars and cafés are where we go to connect and celebrate with friends. And architecture plays a role in these connections. Recently, the American Institute of Architects celebrated these connections at the video competition Videotect 4: Two People Walk into a Bar at the Walker Art Center.

Architecture Minnesota, the award-winning magazine of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Minnesota, puts on Videotect, an annual video competition that invites people to create short videos focused on various design themes. The yearly contest has featured such themes as sustainable transportation and the skyway’s influence on urban life.
