Dwell Magazine invited its readers to submit new designs for mid-century modern homes, and they have narrowed the entries down to a solid ten finalists.
Although the mid-century modern style was popular from the 1930s to the 1960s, most of Dwell’s finalists included current sustainable concepts into their design—including solar panels, LED lighting and other alternative energy sources. Entries ranged from detailed renderings of floor plans to scribbled-down notes.
